Dealing with Death’s Paperwork

I have a date at Probate Court next week and I spent the morning trying to find papers I should have filed as soon as they arrived.

What a clash of need and responsibility! I needed to ignore some of the flood of information that came in after Dennis died. It felt like everything could just wait a little bit. Now suddenly it’s time for an inventory for the court — not that there was any estate to speak of, but still, the requirement must be met. Now I’m paying for the luxury of taking the time I needed to cocoon and ignore the business of death,  Ugh!
