I’m a 56-year-old transplant to Western North Carolina from Northern New Jersey. Italian and Scottish/Dutch with a spritz of Irish. Married twice — once divorced, recently widowed but it’s not like it sounds. We moved here in 1996. My adult son Joshua living with me while getting settled back here and doing college (bless the GI bill — it actually works). Love my work, my cats, the birds, my garden, cooking, and my ill-kempt, messy and cluttered little house. I’m blessed with interesting friends and fairly normal surviving family (a nod to my sister Mary whose crazies are all benign and loving).
